<p>PURPOSE: To dilute a liquid feed concentrate in a single mixing chamber by driving a plunger back and forth in such a manner that predetermined amts. of the liquid feed concentrate and diluting medium may be alternately housed and the eventually resulted mixture is transported during the time of a charging stroke. CONSTITUTION: This dilution valve is provided with the mixing chamber 66, the plunger 20 movable in this chamber, a first valve means 26 for controlling the housing of the liquid feed concentrate into the chamber 24, a second valve means 48 for controlling the housing of the diluting medium into the chamber and a spring 60 acting between the plunger 20 and the valve means 48. The plunger 20 is driven by the pressure of the diluting medium so as to move back and forth in the chamber in such a manner that the predetermined amts. of the liquid feed concentrate and the diluting medium may be alternately housed and the eventually resulted mixture of the concentrate and diluting medium liquid is transported during the time of the charging stroke. The spring 60 induces the change of the diluting medium from the charging stroke to the transporting stroke and induces vice versa as well.</p> |
