PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of pinholes by subjecting the printing material to an antistatic treatment in a stage after a development processing stage. CONSTITUTION:The printing material formed by subjecting a silver halide photographic sensitive material contg. a compd. selected from a group of hydrazine compd. and tetrazolium compd. and photosensitive silver halide particles to a development processing is subjected to the antistatic treatment in the stage after the development processing stage. For example, an aq. soln. of an antistatic agent or a soln. A formed by dissolving the antistatic agent into an org. solvent, such as diethylene glycol or diethanol amine, or a solvent mixture composed of the org. solvent and water is prepd. The printing material is immersed into this soln. A and is subjected to a drying treatment. The generation of pinholes in the printing material is prevented in this way. |
