PURPOSE:To perform pattern image plotting on which arbitrary unbalanced gradation is applied by changing the relative position of an image plotting pattern for an appropriate gradation pattern arbitrarily, and performing a masking processing so as to segment a part where both patterns are superposed. CONSTITUTION:An image plotting area is designated on a display 42 by an area designation means 30, and furthermore, a diagram representing the boundary of a desired pattern is generated, and a mask pattern is displayed on the diagram, and is stored in a mask memory 32. Meanwhile, when specific data out of plural kinds of basic weight pattern data stored in a memory 34 for basic weight pattern in advance is designated, a display means 40 is operated by the data and the data in the memory 32, and an image superposed on a display 42 is reproduced. After that, the relative position of the basic weight pattern is controlled by a mask position setting means as observing the image, and the optimum gradation pattern is superposed, and the data equivalent to the part superposed on the mask pattern is segmented, and the final image plotting pattern data can be generated by superposing it. |
