PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of pinholes by adding an oxyboron compd. to the printing material after a development processing stage. CONSTITUTION:The oxyboron compd. is added, after the development processing, to the printing material formed by subjecting a silver halide photographic sensitive material contg. a compd. selected from a group of hydrazine compd. and tetrazolium compd. and photosensitive silver halide particles to a development processing. For example, the oxyboron compd. is dissolved into an org. solvent, such as diethylene glycol or diethanol amine, or a solvent mixture composed of the org. solvent and water to prepare a soln. A. The printing material is immersed into this soln. A and is subjected to a drying treatment. The generation of pinholes in the printing material is prevented in this way. |
