<p>The foot frame (2) is U-shaped, and can be pushed easily beneath a table and bed. From its centre, rises a vertical support column (3) which cannot be lowered forwards, but can be lowered to the rear through three-quarters of a turn. The support bar (7) is so constructed that with a single grip, without screws or similar, it can be coupled to the support column. On it are fixed devices for the simple connection of the reading console (1), a work table or other auxiliary means, adjustable at all angles up to 180 deg. The reading console comprises a bottom plate with two forks supported a transparent front plate. This plate can be raised or lowered in relation to the bottom plate.</p> |
