The invention relates to a removable post of the type used for keeping a place or which prevents passage of an unauthorised vehicle over a pavement, a road, a park or a garden, the said post being composed of an upper body 1 and a base 2 cemented into the ground S. According to the invention, the abovementioned upper body 1 is mounted removably on the said base 2 by means of a dismountable shoe 3 so that, when the said shoe 3 is dismounted, the said base 3 forms neither a hollow nor a projection with respect to the level of the ground S. Preferably, a recess is made in the lower part of the upper body 1 for interacting by means of a locking device 4 with the abovementioned shoe 3 combined with the said base 2, so that the said shoe 3 combined, by means of a second blocking device 7, with the said base 2 guides and holds the said upper body 1 on the said base 2 when mounting the said post.
