PURPOSE:To make the diameter of a rotor smaller by fixing a piezoelectric elliptic motion oscillator on bearing frames at oscillation node sections, to fix the bearing frames on a cylindrical external frame, and by setting the rotor via bearings supported with the external frame on one side of the end sections of the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric elliptic motion oscillator 12 is formed in the shape of a rod, and the oscillation nodes are supported by bearing frames 11, 11. At both end, of the oscillator 12, cup-formed rotors 13 with a slight space with the end sections of the oscillator 12 in the hollow section, are fitted. The bearing frames 11, 11, with the inserted projected section of the rotors 13, are inserted into a cylindrical external frame 15, and into bearing frame fixing holes 16 arranged on the external frame 15, adhesives is injected, and the bearing frames are fixed on the external frame 15. When elliptic motion oscillation is performed at the ends of the oscillator 12, then the internal wall of the hollow section of the rotor 13 is frictionally worked, and the rotor 13 is rotated. The rotor is rotatably supported by bearings 14, and so the rotor is stably rotated. |
