PURPOSE:To reduce a rate of change in electrostatic capacity to temperature and dependency of dielectric loss on voltage, and to make a relative dielectric constant larger than 9000 by adding a specified oxide to an elementary composition defined as (Ba1-xCax)m(Ti1-yZry)O3. CONSTITUTION:For a composition defined as (Ba1-xCax)m(Ti1-yZry)O3, a conduction described as x=0-0.12mol.%, y=0.10-0.30mol.%, m=0.998-1.012 is satisfied. To a 100 weight part of elementary composition, at least one kind of rare earth oxide among CeO2 or other rare earth oxides of 0.02 to 1.5wt.% and strontium of 2.5wt.% or less are added as a main component, whereas manganese oxide of 0.7wt.% or less and silicon oxide of 0.25wt.% or less are added as a secondary component. A composition whose relative dielectric constant is not less than 9000 can thus be obtained with small dependency of dielectric loss on voltage, as well as an excellent temperature characteristic of electrostatic capacity. |
