STABLE AGRICULTURAL CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide an agricultural chemical composition having good storage stability for a long period by adding a specific acetate ester compound to a liquid formulation containing a benzyl ester synthetic pyrethroid having a cyano group at alpha position thereof as an insecticidal active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:One or more of acetate ester compounds of the formula (R is hydrocarbon which may contain an ether bond) (e.g., methyl cellosolve acetate) (preferably in an amount of >=30%) is added to mixed agents of a benzyl ester synthetic pyrethroid having a cyano group at alpha position thereof and dimethoate (O,O-dimethyl S-methylcarbamoylmethyl phosphodioate) to provide a stable agricultural chemical composition preventing the decomposition of the pyrethroid. The acetate ester compound not only contributes to the stabilization of the pyrethroid but is also used as a solvent for the active ingredients in the liquid formulation.
