<p>PURPOSE: To view a picture out of an output video monitor observation area on a display unit by converting two-dimensional input space into a graphic display screen with the multiplication of a matrix and a variable reduction coefficient. CONSTITUTION: The variable reduction coefficient is accumulated in a coefficient buffer 40 and is impressed on a reduction view port algorithm circuit 42 as input with a point, a mapping function and the end point of a lattice from a two-dimensional projection generation algorithm circuit 30. The point of the reduction view port and the mapping function are respectively accumulated in buffers 44, 46, 48 and 50 and they are mapped so that all points are brought near the center of a graphic display unit. A first wire frame WF buffer 52 accumulates prescribed corner inputs and the points are inputted to a WF mapping algorithm circuit 54 with a reduction view port two-dimensional mapping function. WF corners are reduced and are accumulated in a mapping WF buffer 56 and are inputted to a plotting algorithm circuit 58 and the graphic output picture is generated.</p> |
