摘要 Soldering iron which makes it possible, by virtue of its self-contained nature and without external supply apart from electrical power, to carry out so-called soft-soldering of electronic components or other small electrical conductors. The subject of the invention is a soldering iron which, simply by pressing a push button, performs soldering by simultaneously projecting the liquid flux and the liquefied tin-lead alloy (solder) at the chosen point. The invention principally comprises two similar mechanisms, one for the flux and the other for the solder. The two fluids stored in their respective reservoirs 9 and 24 are pressurised by means of the pistons 6 and 21 which are themselves acted upon by the precompressed springs 3 and 19. At the base of the reservoirs are the taps 14 and 32 connected together via the rocking arm 36 and controlled by the push button 35. Solder in the liquid state is pushed inside the bit 40 as far as the calibrated outlet orifice. The flux is also pushed towards the adjustable-orifice outlet spout 16. The solder, loaded in the solid state, is liquefied in the reservoir 24, the lower portion of which, the tap 32, the nozzle (tube) 33 and the bit 40 are heated by the electrical resistance element 41. The field of use of this soldering iron is relatively huge, since it relates to all industrial sectors involving electronics: assembly of electronic components, production assembly lines (TV, HiFi, video-tape recorders, telephones), etc. <IMAGE>
