Compression assembly of the type comprising a chamber inside which there moves a piston 2 secured to a connecting rod-crank system 3, the said piston determining an upper chamber 5 and a lower chamber 6, the upper chamber being capped by an upper cylinder head 7 including a valve carrier, characterised in that the lower chamber 6 is provided with an associated lower cylinder head 8 allowing intake and discharge under pressure outside of the lower chamber of the ambient air sucked in, the connecting rod-crank system 3 moving in a dry space by means of the use of solid lubricants and/or suitable associated materials.
