The present invention relates to a case with sliding cover. It is constituted by the combination, on the one hand, of a case body 1 preferably made from thin semi-rigid synthetic material provided at its top with two parallel grooves 3 comprising stops 5, 6 at the their ends and, on the other hand, a cover 2 sliding in the said grooves, provided with lugs 7 which are applied against the end stops of the grooves thus preventing its total opening, but able to be separated from the case by exerting a strong pull, the cover being provided on its internal face 4 with a flexible clip built into its thickness allowing it to be converted into a badge or an office paper clip, its external face being able to carry decorative patterns 9.
