PURPOSE:To remove a distance error and to attain to enhance image resolving power by making central frequency constant while simplifying the heat control apparatus of a pulse modulating part, by arranging a temp. detector and a controller to an elastic surface wave dispersing type delay line. CONSTITUTION:The temp. of the elastic surface wave dispersing type delay line 4 in a pulse modulation part 13 is measured by a temp. detector 5 and informations of the central frequency and frequency change rate of a chirp signal are obtained by the obtained temp. monitor signal. This temp. monitor signal is supplied to a controller 6 and the central frequency of the chirp signal is made constant by controlling the timing signal of a gate generator while the information of the frequency change rate of the chirp signal is supplied to an elastic surface wave image treating apparatus 12 to form the matched filter of the linear FM signal corresponding to the change in the temp. of the elastic surface wave dispersive delay line 4 and image treatment is performed. |
