PURPOSE:To improve rapid processability and to suppress the increase in fogging and the degradation in the max. density by processing a silver halide photographic sensitive material into which respectively specific polymers and compds. are incorporated by a specific processing method. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material contg. at least one kind of the polymers contg. the repeating constituting unit expressed by formula I and at least one kind of the compds. expressed by formula II in at least one layer of the photograph constituting layers is processed by a processing stage having a photofogging stage and by using a processing liquid contg. at least one kind of rhodanic salt and org. thioether compd. In formula, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group; Z denotes an atom group necessary for forming a lactam ring, oxazoline ring, etc; A denotes a mere coupler. -CO-, etc. In formula II, M denote a hydrogen atom, anion or -S-Z, Z denotes a residual heterocyclic group contg. >=1 nitrogen atoms. The rapid processability is improved in this way and the degradation in the max. density by the fogging is decreased; in addition, the fluctuating property of the development processing is decreased. |
