PURPOSE:To obtain a circular and uniform small spot with less light loss by using bundle fibers as fiber, and by arranging a means for removing an irregularity in light quantity, at the light emitting end of the bundle fibers. CONSTITUTION:When a part to be treated is determined, treating laser sources 1, 2 are energized. Light from the laser sources is focused onto the incident end face of bundle fibers 6 through anamorphic lenses 5a, 5b, 5c. Efficient focusing may be made to a fine fiber by arranging fibers in one row at the image forming position of a laser emitting part which can be given by the anamorphic lenses 5a, 5b, 5c. The emitting end parts of the bundle fibers 6 are bundled in a circular shape, and a single rod 7 is attached to the forward part thereof. With this arrangement, irregularity in light distribution at the emitting end of the bundle fibers 6 is improved so as to make the emitting light uniform. Further, light from the semiconductor laser sources may be efficiently focused to a thin fiber, and accordingly, it is possible to carry out precise treatment with the use of a small spot. |
