PACKAGE OF FREEZE-DRIED FOOD

PURPOSE:To recover food by soaking it in hot water or water after peeling a seal material by a method wherein a package of freeze-dried food is peelably enclosed with the seal material from the outside with a hole formed on a part of the package and the package is covered with a porous sheet to have a gas- barrier type edible water soluble substance infiltrated. CONSTITUTION:A hole 1A formed on a package 1 is sealed by a seal material 2 from the exterior and by a porous material 3 from the interior, and a film-like edible water soluble substance 4 is supported by a flange portion 5A and an interposing member 5B in-between. After the seal material 2 is peeled off, by soaking the package in hot water or water, the edible water soluble substance 4 is solved to have the supporting body opened, thereby permitting hot water or water to infiltrate inside of freeze-dried food 6 to have it recovered in a short time.
