发明名称 ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make a correct focus on an aimed region and to obtain a good ultrasonic image by changing the delay time given to a transmit/receive signal of each micro-vibrator for electronic focus according to the thickness of a subcutaneous fat layer of a tested body. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic probe 1 is pressed to a subcutaneous fat layer 11 of a tested body. Signal lines from one group of adjacent micro-vibrators among signal lines led out from the respective micro-vibrators are selected by a signal line select circuit 3 to set a transmit/receive aperture. The respective transmit signals to which the delay time is given for focusing are generated in a transmit/receive circuit 4. After the delay time is given to the respective receive signals for focusing, the signals are added and output to an envelope signal processing unit 5. The processed envelope signals are displayed as a tomographic image by an image delay circuit 8 and further, output to a thickness decision circuit 6, so that the time of ultrasonic echo by the back of the subcutaneous fat layer elapsed from from the transmission to receiving is automatically measured to give the thickness of subcutaneous fat layer. According to the thickness, each delay time corresponding to focus of transmission and receiving is selected by a focus control circuit 7.
