PURPOSE: To permit the misalignment over an extensive range, and to supply high output and high torque by providing an element body, a plurality of first fasteners to tighten the element body to a drive shaft, and a plurality of tightening to tighten the element body to a driven shaft. CONSTITUTION: A joint element 30 is a compound one, first and second fasteners 50A-50F are <=5.1 mm in diameter, and connected to each other by a piece formed of a composite material containing strands occupying 10-75% of a piece to expand a part between the first and second fasteners. The first fasteners apply the force to the second fasteners in the composite body through the strands. The diameter of a circle is determined so as to be sufficiently large to reduce the stress attributable to the transmission of the torque and the misalignment in the axial direction to a minimum, and sufficiently small to reduce the weight and to facilitate the fitting. |
