<p>PURPOSE:To increase a torque transmission capacity by incorporating an elastic member being torque-applied elastically deformed until clearance in the direction of rotation is eliminated when torque exceeding a setting torque is applied, between input and output shafts. CONSTITUTION:When load applied to output shaft 15 is below a setting torque of an elastic member 30 being torque-applied and input shaft 13 is rotated, the rotation of the input shaft 13 is transmitted through the elastic member 30 to the output shaft 15. When load to the output shaft 15 becomes large and exceeds the setting torque of the elastic member 30, a retainer 22 of the input shaft 13 is relatively rotated relative to a retainer 24 of the output shaft 15, the end part of the outside diameter side of a sprag 18 is pressed by the rotation to tilt the sprag 18 in the direction of rotation of the retainer 22 on the input shaft side, a circular arc face 19 on the outside diameter side of the sprag 18 and a circular arc face 20 on the inside diameter side are respectively engaged with a cylindrical surface 12 of the outer ring and a cylindrical surface 17 of the output shaft 15, and a clutch is thus operated.</p> |
