The present invention relates to a hydraulic unit for a manual pallet truck, or lifting jack. The particular feature of the invention is the elimination of load on the emitter piston PE, of an automatic filling with oil of the chambers: primary P, intermediate I, transfer T, and secondary S. The reservoir R is built into the unit, around the thrust cylinder rod, and is therefore movable. The present invention may receive an induction coil (electromagnet) in order to eliminate the manual action. The present invention has the advantage of largely eliminating the reciprocating linear movements for raising a substantial load, just a few repetitions being sufficient to raise a load. <IMAGE>
