Conventional injection moulds are not suitable for producing, for example, polyhedrons with extremely smooth side faces without complex surface finishing being necessary. An injection mould according to the invention has for this purpose a parting line (35) which does not lie in one sectional plane, runs around the injection cavity and is formed, for example in the case of a polyhedron, by six peripheral edges (5), which in each case lie section-by-section at right angles to one another. Each injection mould half (13', 13'') thus serves for moulding three neighbouring mutually perpendicular sides (3), for example of a right-parallelepipedal or cuboidal polyhedron. The injection mould halves are suitable in particular for the production of right-parallelepipedal or cuboidal polyhedrons. <IMAGE>
