PURPOSE:To facilitate the synthesis of image data from an image input device and image data inputted from a host computer and to shorten processing time by providing two image memories. CONSTITUTION:The controller is equipped with a page memory 105 to store the image data, a picture memory 108 to store the image data and an interface 109 with a host computer 4. When the image data made in the host computer 4 and developed to the page memory 105 and the image data from an image input device 1 are synthesized, by only changing the cut-out position of the image data stored in the picture memory 108, the image data from the image input device 1 are cut out freely and repeatedly, synthesized with the image data developed to the page memory 105 and outputted to an image output device. Thus, the image data are easily synthesized and the processing time is shortened. |
