The rotor (3) of eccentric spiral pumps conventionally used to convey mortar, which is housed in a stator in which it rotates eccentrically, is a costly component and subject to high wear, particularly on the delivery side, which often loses its symmetry due to unilateral wear. The aim of the invention is to ensure better utilization of the rotor (3) and hence to prolong the service life of the functional unit consisting of the stator and the rotor (3). In the eccentric spiral pump disclosed, the two front faces of the rotor (3) are provided with square profiles whose outer dimensions are less than the diameter of the core of the rotor (3). Hence, in the event of unilateral wear, the rotor (3) can be inserted in the opposite direction in the stator so that the unworn region is located on the delivery side of the stator, which is exposed to wear. This results in better utilization of the rotor (3), in particular in eccentric spiral pumps with a large delivery head to be overcome or which, for other reasons, must generate a high output pressure. |
