发明名称 MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATOR FOR MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic field generator for magneto-optical recording which is low in loss and is simple in constitution by constituting a main magnetic pole of an amorphous magnetic metal fiber bundle and disposing one longitudinal end face thereof to face the magneto-optical recording medium and determining the longitudinal direction thereof as the direction of the axis of difficult magnetization. CONSTITUTION:The main magnetic pole 2 of the circular columnar shape consisting of the amorphous magnetic metal fiber bundle is disposed on the central axis of the inside of a pot-shaped outer core 4 in such a manner that one end face couples magnetically tightly to the base part 4A. The top end face 2a of the main magnetic pole 2, i.e., the top end face of the amorphous magnetic metal fiber bundle is so disposed as to be the surface facing the magnetic recording medium 1 and the longitudinal direction of the amorphous magnetic metal fiber bundle is the axis of difficult magnetization. The main magnetic pole 2 is magnetized by energization to a winding 3 wound on the main magnetic pole 2 and the leak magnetic field indicated by fine lines (a) is generated from the end face of the main magnetic pole 2 facing the medium 1. This leak magnetic field is utilized as the recording magnetic field. Since the longitudinal direction of the main magnetic pole 2 is the direction of the axis of difficult magnetization, the loss energy is effectively decreased and the lower loss is attained.
