<p>PURPOSE:To improve the curving operation of a curve part and to form an endoscope whose curve part has a uniform outer diameter by providing a cylindrical member having an outer diameter different from that of other cylindrical part to a curve pipe part and changing the wall thickness of the curve pipe part corresponding to the outer diameter of the cylindrical member so that the outer diameter of the curve part becomes uniform when the curve pipe part is covered with a cover member. CONSTITUTION:A curve part 20 is formed so that the outer diameter on the rear end side thereof is smaller than that on the leading end side thereof across a position where the outer diameter of a bulge joint roll 21b changes. Further, an outer skin 23 is formed so that the wall thickness on the rear end side thereof is larger than that on the leading end side thereof across the position where the outer diameter of the bulge joint roll 21b changes. Therefore, the outer diameter of the curve part 10 becomes almost uniform in such a state that the outer periphery of a curve pipe 20 is covered with the outer skin 23 through a metal net pipe 22. Since the wall thickness of the outer skin 23 on the rear end side thereof is made larger than that of said skin on the leading end side thereof across the bulge joint roll 21b as mentioned above, the curving resistance of the curve part before the bulge joint roll 21b becomes lower than that behind said roll 21b and, when the curve part 10 is curved, the part before the bulge joint roll 21b can begin to curve at first.</p> |
