<p>PURPOSE:To rigidly couple a planar member to a protrusion member of different material by holding the planar member and the protrusion member inserted into the cavity of the planar member between a flange formed at the protrusion member and a retainer to be engaged with the protrusion member, and welding a step formed one side of the flange and the retainer thereto to be coupled. CONSTITUTION:A cavity 3 having a larger diameter than the outer diameter of a connecting tube 2 is provided at the position of a tube 1 to be coupled with the tube 2, and a flange 4 having a larger diameter than that of the cavity 3 is formed at the base end of the tube 2. The tubes 2 and a retainer 5 are made of the same material, the tube 2 is inserted from the inside of the tube 1 into the cavity 3, the retainer 5 is inserted from the outside of the tube 1 to the tube 2, and the step 6 thereof is coupled to the cavity 3 of the tube 1. A jig 7 is inserted into the inside of the tube 1, the lower side of the flange 4 is supported, the end of an ultrasonic tool horn 9 is brought into pressure contact with the upper side of the part formed with the step 6 of the retainer 5, ultrasonically heated to melt the end face of the step 6, and the flange 4 of the tube 2 is welded to the retainer 5.</p> |
