POLY(METH)ACRYLATE AND OPTICAL MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a poly(meth)acrylate providing optical materials having excellent light transmission properties in a range of a visible light far infrared light and a little increase in loss even at high temperature and high humidity, containing a specific repeating unit. CONSTITUTION:A monomer shown by formula I [R1 is D, CD3 or halogen: R2 is halogenated alkyl shown by formula II (Y is halogen; n is <=5)] homopolymerized or copolymerized with deuterated methyl methacrylate preferably by bulk polymerization to give a poly(meth)acrylate shown by formula III. The poly(meth)acrylate is used to give an optical material suitable as a material for optical integrated circuit, light signal transmission medium, etc.
