A mine-clearing assembly, essentially in the form of a rotor 10 with a vertical axis, which rotates striking elements 12, 13 into contact with mines on the surface of the ground, is supported from a driving vehicle via a link arm 20 extending forwards in the direction of travel. The rotor housing is tiltable about a horizontal axis 21 which extends transverse to the direction of travel. The rotor housing is supported centrally away from the surface of the ground by a support arrangement which has an eccentric support point 16. The bearing force of the support point 16 against the ground gives rise to a pivoting movement of the rotor about the axis 51. A spring arrangement 50 which acts between the arm 20 and the rotor housing 14 counteracts this turning moment and maintains the orientation of the rotor relative to the surface of the ground even when the surface of the ground falls or rises in the direction of travel. <IMAGE> |
