PURPOSE:To enable energy saving for ventilation facilities by providing an indicator for wind due to the piston effect of a vehicle running in a tunnel, a computing element for calculating an air intake and exhaust value on the basis of a signal from the indicator and a variable speed controller for operating a blower at a variable speed depending upon the calculated value. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 13a and 13b as indicators for showing vehicle wind 19 are provided at a position adjacent to the station 3 of a tunnel 7. Signals from the aforesaid sensors 13a and 13b are transmitted to computing elements 15a and 15b via signal cables 14a and 14b and the required air intake and exhaust value is computed in the elements 15a and 15b. Output from the computing elements 15a and 15b are inputted to variable speed controllers 17a and 17b via signal cables 16a and 16b, and electric power is supplied via power cables 18a and 18b, depending upon the inputted signal, thereby making the variable speed control of blowers 2a and 2b. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible to effectively ventilate matching piston effect due to the travel of a vehicle, and minimize rush and intake wind into the station 3. |
