<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the jumping of an O-ring out of a groove by adopting a means for providing a grip part at a part of the O-ring and more preferably the retaining part of a wire harness in the O-ring. CONSTITUTION:A groove 118 having an approximate L-shape is formed along the inner edge of a main housing 2 and a rubber O-ring 119 is inserted in the aforesaid groove 118. In addition, the O-ring 119 is flexed with the mat- ing face 115 of a sub-housing 2', thereby ensuring sealing pressure. In this case, a grip part having a diameter slightly larger than groove width is provided in a part of the O-ring 119 and this O-ring 119 is retained against the stability thereof via the insertion of the grip part in the predetermined position of the groove 118. According to the aforesaid construction, workability can be substantially improved and sealing performance can be ensured.</p> |
