PURPOSE: To obtain a an antimicrobial water-soluble base composed of a colloidal suspension formed by a combination of a silane in the form of a quaternary ammonium salt with water-soluble powder selected from the group consisting of perspiration suppressant salts, starch, clay and saccharoses. CONSTITUTION: This composition containing water-soluble perspiration- suppressant salt contains a water-soluble base (preferably powdery base, for example, perspiration suppressant salts, starch, clay, saccharoses, aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum-zirconium tetrachlorohydrex glycinate, etc.) to which an organosilane selected from compounds of formula I [R is a 1-4C alkyl or H; (a) is 0-2; R' is methyl or ethyl; R" is a 1-4C alkylene; R''', R<4>→' and R<v> are each a 1-4C alkyl, -CH2 C6 H5 , -CH2 CH2 OH, -CH2 OH, -(CH2 )x NHC(O)RVI ((x) is 2-10); RVI is a 1-12 perfluoroalkyl; x is Cl, Br, F, I, acetic group or tosyl; Ph is phenyl] is attached. |
