<p>a) The invention relates to a method and installation for analysing the surface condition of a body of revolution. b) Method, characterised in that: - a viewing plane 1, 34 of the camera 2, 33 is defined, - the bodies 3A, 3B, 3C, 35 are passed one by one through the viewing plane 1, 34 without rotating the bodies on themselves, - the bodies are illuminated 5, 6 in two directions which are inclined with respect to the viewing plane 1, 34, - a narrow moving band 8, 32 of the body 3A-3C, 35 is analysed using the camera 2, 33, placed in the viewing plane 1, whilst the body passes through the viewing plane 1, 34, - the signals from the camera 2, 33 are compared with reference signals, - the body 3A-3C, 35 is identified from the comparison signals, - classification of the body 3A-3C, 35 is ordered. c) The invention relates to analysis of the surface condition of articles similar to shapes of revolution or the like, such as circular cylindrical containers, gas bottles, etc. <IMAGE></p> |
