PURPOSE:To form a direct positive image having the high max. image density and the low min. image density by executing development processing in the presence of at least one kind of specific compds. and at least one kind of other specific compds. CONSTITUTION:The development processing is executed in the co-presence of at least one kind of the compds. expressed by formula I or II and at least one kind of the compds. expressed by formula III or IV. In formulas I, II, Q denotes the atom group necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered heterocycle; Q' denotes an atom group necessary for forming the 5- or 6-membered heterocycle. In formula III, IV, R1 to R4 denote a hydrogen atom or <=8C alkyl group, etc.; R5 denotes a hydrogen atom or <=11C alkyl group; total of the carbon atoms of R1 and R2 is >=5 and <=12; the total of carbon atoms of R3 to R5 is >=8 to <=22. The direct positive image having the high max. image density and the low min. image density is formed in this way. |
