A ventilating fan includes a casing (1) enclosing an electric motor (2) having a rotational shaft, a fan blade (4) driven by the motor (2). The fan blade (4) includes a hub portion (5) coupled to the rotational shaft of the motor (2) and a blade portion (6) detachably attached to the hub portion (5). The blade portion (6) which is likely to be soiled is formed from any one of a foaming material, sheet material and paper so as to be replaceable by a new one. Alternatively, the front frame (22) includes a base portion (23) attached to the casing (1) and a detachable portion (24) having a bell mouth (22a) and detachably attached to the base portion (23).
