PURPOSE:To secure a conductibility, to improve the relative density so as to secure the use in an oxidizing ambiance, and to secure a mechanical strength, by mixing a specific wt. pt. of titanium boride powder and aluminum oxide powder to a specific silicon carbide, and sintering it in an inert gas ambiance at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:To 25 to 75 wt.pt. of silicon carbide SiC powder, 20 to 70 wt.pt. of titanium boride TiB2 powder is mixed, and 3 to 26 wt.pt. of aluminum oxide Al2O3 powder is also mixed. After that, the mixture is sintered in an inert gas ambiance at the temperature 1700 deg. to 2000 deg.C. The reason that the mixing ratio of the titanium boride TiB powder is made 20 to 70 wt.pt. is that the conductibility of the product to be a ceramics heat generator is reduced when the mixing ratio is less than 20 wt.pt. And when the mixing ratio exceeds 70 wt.pt., the sintering property is deteriorated, and the mechanical strength is reduced. |
