PURPOSE:To improve dispersibility in water of raw material powder for ceramics by bonding an org. base compd. to the surface of the raw material powder, and to facilitate molding of a ceramics by reducing the viscosity of slurry obtd. thereby. CONSTITUTION:The title raw material powder for ceramics having the org. base compd. bonded to its surface is obtd. by mixing raw material powder for ceramics with the org. base compd. which is bonded to the raw material powder for ceramics at the same time when the raw material powder is crushed. Preferred org. base compd. is an N-contg. org. compd. forming a quat. salt of ammonium ion, pyridinium ion, etc., by reacting with H ion, namely, that having a property of a Lewis base. Examples therefor are, ethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, piperidine, pyridine, etc. Suitable amt. of the org. base compd. to be bonded to the surface of the raw material powder for ceramics is about 1-100ppm basing on the amt. of the raw material powder for ceramics. |
