PURPOSE:To easily execute the load of a microprogram to a control memory in a short time by providing a means to store a loader program from a main memory and a loader program executing means in a processor. CONSTITUTION:The loader program to load the microprogram to a control memory 12 is stored in a loader program holding part 11 in a processor 1. By executing the loader program in a microprogram executing part 15, a microprogram (c) in a size to be designated by a microprogram length (b) is loaded from the address of a main memory 2 to be designated by a microprogram storing address (a) which is read from the 0-address of the main memory 2. In such a case, a jump instruction is executed to the executing address of the microprogram which is loaded to the control memory 12. Thus, the microprogram can be easily loaded to the control memory 12 in a short time.
