PURPOSE:To obtain the objective hair tonic exhibiting blood flow improving and accelerating action to the cleaned scalp pores free from waste products by adding Chinese herb drugs to ethanol and extracting the active components of the drugs. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic can be prepared by adding proper amounts of various Chinese herb drugs consisting of NINJIN (rhizome of Panax ginseng), KASHUU (polygoni multiflori radix), DENSHICHI-NINJIN (root of Panax notoginseng), TONIN (stone of Prunus persica), KOUKA (flower of Carthamus tinctorium), KANKYOU (rhizome of Zingiber officinale), YAKOUTOU and SENKYU (rhizome of Cnidium officinale) to 1,000cc of 75% ethanol and extracting the active components of the drugs. The hair tonic contains the nutrients necessary for the development of hair from resting hair-matrix cell and exhibits the excitometabolic and trichogenic effect to alopecia seborrheica. The excitometabolic and trichogenic treatment for the alopecia seborrheica is carried out by sprinkling the scalp with a weakly acidic liquid having a pH of about 4.5-4 (smaller than that of the scalp) to remove the waste products and adipose from the skin pore and sprinkling subject hair tonic to the scalp pores free from waste products, etc. |
