PURPOSE:To fix a sheet hardly movable in an easy manner, prevent the release of an ink image formed on the retransfer sheet, and obtain a favorable transfer quality with a low transfer energy by a method wherein the tensile force of a wax-containing surface treating material formed on one surface of the sheet is limited in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A retransfer sheet 10 has a surface treating agent layer 12 on one surface of a substrate 11. The surface treating agent layer 12 has a tensile strength from 1 to 100kg/cm<2>. A surface treating agent is preferably 100 deg.C or less in melting point or in softening point and melts to have a viscosity of at least 1000 poise at 100 deg.C. Furthermore, a wax is added to the components of the surface treating agent while the addition amount is adjusted, whereby a tensile strength can be finely adjusted. In this manner, a favorable transfer image can be formed with a low energy. Therefore, a resulting high adhesion makes resistance to scratching favorable, and also a static coefficient of friction can be enhanced and, thus, a sheet fixing in retransferring can be easily performed. |
