<p>PURPOSE:To enable diagnosis of fault even upon mechanical lock by providing a frequency determining means having a means for fixing the frequency of a DC/AC converting means to a starting frequency and a frequency fixing/ normal switching means. CONSTITUTION:A means 10 for fixing the frequency of a DC/AC converting means 102 to a starting frequency and a frequency fixing/normal switching means 12 are provided to a frequency determining means 103. During normal operation, the means 12 is set normally while it is set for fixed frequency during fault diagnosis. An air-conditioner is operated with such frequency and voltage which are not interrupted by overcurrent even when a compressor 112 is locked, thus facilitating diagnosis of fault.</p> |
