PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic at the time of cold starting by making weak force in the valve opening direction as much as being sufficient to make up for valve opening force lacking in at the cold starting so as to be given to a main valve of an idling speed control valve. CONSTITUTION:In an idling speed control valve, when starting, in the state that a coil 6 is energized, a plunger 1 is pressed to the right by balance between both springs 7 and 8, a pilot valve 15 becomes fully closed, and a main valve 13 is being energized in the valve closing direction by differential pressure between chambers 21 and 22. Next, when the coil 6 is excited, the plunger 1 is moved to the left, the pilot valve is opened and intake negative pressure in a diaphragm chamber 20 is interconnected whereby a diaphragm 11 is pushed to the left. In this case, a coil spring 16a is compressed and interposed between the main valve 13 and a case 17, and the main valve 13 is energized in the valve opening direction (left). Valve opening force lacking in at the time of cold starting is assisted by this coil spring 16a, thus valve opening of the main valve is made performable. |
