<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to hold an air cap with a flexible retainer ring of which the inner part is held by a housing and the outer part is held by an air cap even if this air cap disengages from an atomization forming air manifold by disposing this retainer ring. CONSTITUTION: A fluid rotary atomizer 26 is freely rotatably supported near one end of the housing 21 and this atomizer 26 is provided with an annular edge 76 from which a coating material is discharged so as to be atomized by centrifugal force. Further, an air driven motor 46 is connected to the atomizer 26 and one end of the annular air cap 24 is screwed to one end of the housing 21. The other end thereof is extended toward the annular edge 76 of the atomizer 26. The outer portion of the flexible retainer ring 59 held in its inner part by this housing 71 is held by the air cap 24.</p> |
