PURPOSE:To obtain a gasket of improve flatting resistance by forming a sealing layer comprising a specified ultraviolet-curable polyurethane acrylate on at least part of the surface of a gasket. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet-curable polyurethane acrylate containing silica and a coupling agent is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. uncured polyurethane acrylate with 0.1-10 pts.wt. silane coupling agent (e.g., gamma-aminopropylethoxysilane) and 2-50 pts.wt. powdery silica of a mean particle diameter <=30mum, desirably, of 0.1-10mum. The obtained acrylate is applied to at least part of the surface of a gasket and cured with ultraviolet radiation to form a sealing layer. |
