PURPOSE: To join a pipe with high sealability by providing a joining member having a tooth-shaped anchor system on one end and having a screw to be nut-tightened with an O-ring interposed therebetween on the other end. CONSTITUTION: This pipe joining device to join a branch pipe A to a main pipe B, is formed of, for example, a plastic, and has an anchor system comprising several teeth 10 adaptable to an opening part 2 of the main pipe B. A center collar surface is surrounded by a compressible packing 12 to keep a joining part in a liquid tight manner. A screwed shoulder part 13 is provided on a tip continuous to the collar surface, and a nut 14 is tightened thereto. The pipe joining device is installed on the opening part 2, the branched pipe A is inserted therein, and an 0-ring 15 is interposed between the nut 14 and the inner surface of the shoulder part 13. As a result, the branched pipe is rapidly joined with high sealability. The electric conduction generated in a metal part is prevented. |
