PURPOSE:To obtain an oil burner of cordless type for which electric power is not at all used, by rotating fans by only self-combustion, utilizing a hot gas reciprocating engine. CONSTITUTION:Because a hot gas reciprocating engine 4 is inserted into the burning part 25 of a pot 3, the heated part 29 of an engine 4 is heated by flames, after the oil being fed into the pot 3 is ignited. The operating gas in a cylinder 14 repeats a closed cycle of isothermal compression, isochoric heating isothermal expansion, and isochoric cooling by the differece of temperature between the heated part 29 and a cooled part 30, so that a displacer 15 and a piston 16 reciprocate in the cylinder 14, and a fan 7 in an air feed pipe 7 is rotated by mechanisms from a crank mechanism 19 a crank shaft 20 to a transmission mechanism 6. By the rotation of a fan 7, combustion air is fed into the pot 3 through air feed ports 22 and 23 opened to the pot 3. This arrangement makes the source of electric power supply to rotate fans unnnecessary. |
