PURPOSE:To surely collect pieces of information in respective parts in a line having a loop shape by providing a traveling object to move together with a fluid in the line and providing the title information collecting device to collect various pieces of information according to the command of a receiving device and a processor to obtain the intra-line information of a specific part in the line from the pieces of collected information in this traveling object. CONSTITUTION:When water as a liquid is circulated in a loop-shaped line 2 by a water supplying system 1, and the command of information collection is outputted from the side of the system 1, the command is received by a receiving device 11 of a traveling object 10 provided in the line 2, and the received information collection command is informed to a microprocessor 13. On the other hand, an information collecting device 12 also collects the various pieces of information in the line 2 through a sensor based on command data and supplies the collected various pieces of information to the processor 13. Further, at the same time, a counter 14 counts the position of the traveling object 10 to move together with the water and inputs the position information of the traveling object 10 to the processor 13.
