PURPOSE:To form high-grade images having no ghosts by depositing 2nd and 3rd multilayered dielectric films on the respective exit faces of a beam splitter which is formed by crimping a 1st multilayered dielectric films with two optical glasses and having high mechanical strength, thereby forming a dichroic mirror. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam emitted from one semiconductor laser 2 is transmitted through the 1st multiolayered dielectric films 20 by the beam splitter 11 and is emitted from the exist face 23. The laser beam is turned back by a mirror 12 and is guided to an object 4 to be irradiated. The laser beam emit ted from the other semiconductor laser 3 is reflected by the 1st multilayered dielectric films 20 and is emitted from the exist face 24 so as to be introduced to the object 4 to be irradiated. The complete sepn. of the laser beam in the beam splitter 11 is not possible. The 2nd multilayered dielectric films 13 and the 3rd multilayered dielectric films 14 are, thereupon, provided by utilizing the surface of the beam splitter 11 in order to prevent the beams a2, b2 failed to be separated in the beam splitter 11 which is the cause for the generation of the ghosts from arriving at the object 4 to be irradiated. |
