PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive crimes prevention system of high reliability and to effectively manage paper moneys by providing a means which detects the presence or the absence of paper moneys in a POS terminal. CONSTITUTION:This system consists of a POS terminal (point of sales terminal) POS control part 21 and a cash drawer 23 provided with a paper money sensor 22. A prescribed time zone is set by a switch 24 and a clock 25 in the POS control part 21, and a change detection output 28 from a signal change detecting part 26 is transmitted to a guard security company 29 or the like. The paper money sensor 22 is provided in a paper money preservation space 34 between the bottom face of a bottom 33 of the cash drawer 23 and the bottom face of a coin receptacle 31 and detects the paper money absence state and sends the state to the POS control part 21 as a signal. Thus, the POS terminal provided with the inexpensive crimes prevention system of high reliability. |
