PURPOSE:To store image output information in a storage part without lacking the whole image by changing the image output information to a rougher resolution than a prescribed resolution, and making the storage capacity required for the image output information smaller than the capacity of a free area. CONSTITUTION:Image information outputted from a control part M1 is developed to a bit map format of a prescribed resolution as image display use or image printing use image output information. Subsequently, the capacity of a free area M21 of a storage part M2 calculated by a free capacity calculating means M3, and the storage capacity required for image output information of a prescribed resolution are compared by a capacity comparing means M4. When it is judged that the storage capacity required for the image output information is larger, by changing the image output information to a rougher resolution than a prescribed resolution with a resolution changing means M5, and made smaller than the capacity of the area M21. Next, the image output information of a changed resolution is stored in the area 21 by a store means M6. |
